Due to high demand, the WA College of Agriculture – Denmark has a limited number of places in residential accommodation. There is a selection process for both residential and day students wishing to enrol.
The following information outlines the process for enrolment and highlights the basis for decisions on student selection.
Expression of interest
If you have read the College Prospectus and you are interested in finding out more, then we ask the prospective student to complete the Expression of Interest Form and the parent/guardian to complete the Application for Enrolment. Copies of the last two Semester Reports and NAPLAN results must accompany the application.
The College may request a confidential report from the last school your child attended to be sent direct to the College. This is used as an indicator of your son/daughter’s interest and suitability to this type of educational programme.
On receipt of the forms a Corporate Services Officer will contact you to make arrangements for you and your child to attend an interview with the Principal/Deputy Principal and to take a tour of the College facilities. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application as soon as practicable after all information is received.
The College will contact you within two weeks following the interview.
Selection for enrolment will be made on a student’s enthusiasm to undertake the education program offered at this College along with several other criteria including, past behavioural record in relation to suitability to a residential environment, academic record and the available educational options for your child.
