fees and charges

The payment of all college fees and charges is compulsory; they are separated into the following categories:

a. Year 11 & 12 Charges
For mainstream and vocational courses, which include:

  • subject charges
  • compulsory course charges and
  • other services provided by the College, which are not directly part of the educational program.

The College purchases and supplies to students all of their files, paper and book requirements. In doing so we are able to purchase at considerable discounts and pass this benefit onto you. Payment for these charges is to be made by the end of Term 1.

Refunds will be made of the compulsory course charges and charges for other services provided by the College if not used, however refunds of subject charges may not occur as items may have been purchased for, and partially used, by the student. Determination of this will be made if/when a student leaves the College.

b. Optional Charges

Participation in these activities is voluntary and may not apply to all students, however a charge is payable if students participate. In some cases you will be asked to provide payment before students can participate, if not, costs will be added to your account.

c. Residential Boarding Fees (RBF) - ($7791 in 2009; plus other costs of approx. $600)

The Corporate Executive of the Department of Education and Training determines RBF at agricultural schools and colleges.

The residential status of students is conditional on the payment of RBF and they will be paid in three instalments as follows:

  • first and second instalments must be cleared by the end of Semester 1 for students to continue in residence in Semester 2;
  • the third instalment must be cleared before the commencement of Term 4.

Residency will be denied at the commencement of Year 12 if Year 11 RBF have not be paid. In these circumstances students can continue their education program as day students.

If parents are having difficulty meeting these deadlines please contact the Business Manager to make alternative arrangements.

Refunds will be made if a student leaves the college through their own choice or through termination of residency. Fees remain payable and are not refundable for the remainder of the term in which the student is withdrawn. Fees pre-paid beyond the immediate term are refundable.

Day Students:

$779 per annum plus other costs of approx. $400.

Subject/course costs:

$500 per annum.
