Curtin Business School (CBS) accounting student David Taylor is one of only two Australians selected to represent Ernst & Young Australia at a global young leaders’ conference in the United States.
The International Intern Leadership Conference, being held in August, gives participants the chance to learn about the company’s strategy and vision and is attended by top interns from around the world.
Mr Taylor, of Canning Vale, said he was honoured to be selected to represent Australia at the conference which was held in Orlando, Florida.
Mr Taylor was then selected to join the staff at Ernst & Young.
After graduating from Denmark Agricultural College he gained entry to Curtin’s School of Agriculture and Environment (formerly the Muresk Institute) and he later transferred to the Bentley campus.
Originally from Albany, Mr Taylor completed a double degree in Commerce and Agribusiness.
Sometime in the future Mr Taylor hopes to set up his own accounting firm and work with agricultural clients.
