Enrolling at the College
Enrolments at agricultural colleges are in high demand, particularly at our College. As a public school with amazing agricultural resources, it is important that we enrol students who are interested in agriculture and related pathways. These pathways are diverse, with post-school options including employment, training or further study.

The enrolment process begins with students and parents learning more about what the College offers. Please take the time to explore our website and read our prospectus before applying. Attending our annual College Open Day is also a good way to see what we do and the opportunities available.
Due to the demand for residential accommodation, eligibility for a place may depend on your geographical location.
The Application Process
The information below outlines the enrolment process and how decisions on student selection are made.
Parents and carers complete the Application for Enrolment Form and attach all required documentation.
A Panel will review applications and conduct an initial assessment.
Prospective student interviews will be offered to applicants who meet this initial assessment. Applicants who do not meet the criteria at this stage will not be offered an interview.
Interviews will be held either face-to-face or online.
Successful applicants will be offered a position in an offer round.
Criteria
During the application and interview stage, the student’s interest in agriculture, trades and certificates, and their ability to meet our Code of Conduct will be considered. Students applying for a residential place will also be assessed on their suitability for the residential program.
Placement Offers
Year 10
The College completes three rounds of interviews each year commencing in Term 1 of the year prior to entry. Offers are made based on the number of boarding and day student places available, along with places in specific education pathways. Students who do not receive an offer remain on hold for later rounds. Applicants are encouraged to provide improved school reports or additional documents if available. Families will be updated in writing at each stage.
Year 11
Availability for new Year 11 students is expected to be very limited. Applications will be reviewed in early Term 3 of the year prior to entry, and families will be advised of the outcome. Please include a copy of the student’s most recent school report with the application.
Offer Rounds
Round 1: End of Week 2, Term 2
Round 2: End of Week 2, Term 3
Final Offers: End of Week 2, Term 4 (subject to availability)
