WA Student Assistance Payment is back!

Families can claim financial support to help with the cost of school expenses.

  • $150 for each Kindergarten and primary school student

  • $250 for each secondary school student

Claims open Monday, 20 July 2026 and close Friday, 25 September 2026.

To claim, you'll need your child's WA Student Number (WASN). The quickest way to apply is through the ServiceWA app using your Digital ID.

An email has been sent to families via Compass with all the information you'll need to submit your claim, including your child's WA Student Number (WASN).
