Upcoming Assessments and Activities

This week:

Year 10 Industry Tour

Year 11 1st Aid training Tuesday and Wednesday - Group 1

Assessments:

Year 10

  • English - short story composition

  • Math_2 - Finance test

Year 11

  • ATAR Math - Test 1

  • General English - Advertising analysis

  • ATAR Biology - Test: biodiversity and ecosystems

Year 12

  • ATAR English - create a picture book, reflection journal

  • Metals - Design project 1 - devise a solution

 

Key Messages

Uni Tour

Unfortunately, the Year 11/12 Uni Tour was cancelled due to expected weather conditions in Perth. Hopefully both Murdoch and Curtin Universities will reschedule this event in the near future.

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be released next week. You will receive an email with instructions on how to download your report. Alternatively, you can access your child’s report via Connect. Included in this email will be instructions on how to book interviews with your child’s teachers.

Parent/Teacher/Student Interview Afternoon

Monday 20th April we will be conducting our Parent/Teacher afternoon from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Instructions on how to book will be included in your progress report email. If you are unable to attend but would like a phone interview, please email Tamara.Cybula@education.wa.edu.au to arrange a time.

School Holidays

School holidays are fast approaching providing both students and staff with time to relax and enjoy time with family. School finishes at 2pm on Thursday 2nd April with school resuming on Tuesday 21st April. Boarders return on Monday 20th April from 2pm. I wish you all a wonderful Easter break and look forward to a busy term 2.

Ag Institute Australia Careers Night
