Key Messages
Welcome back to Term 3. I hope families enjoyed a restful break and that our students have returned refreshed and ready for what promises to be one of the busiest and most exciting terms of the year.
For our Year 12 students, Term 3 is a particularly important milestone as they move towards completion of their school, vocational, and certificate courses. We are entering the final stages of assessment and training, and every lesson, practical activity, and workplace learning opportunity counts. Regular attendance is essential to ensure students meet the competency requirements of their certificate qualifications and successfully complete their courses. We ask parents to continue supporting strong attendance habits throughout the term to give students every opportunity for success.
The term ahead is packed with major events and opportunities for our students. Preparations are already underway for the Royal Show and the Beverley Show, where students will proudly showcase their skills, livestock, and hard work. We also look forward to welcoming prospective students, families, and community members to our annual Open Day, one of the highlights of the college calendar.
I would also like to make families aware of the national AusAlert trial taking place on Monday 27 July. Please refer to the information provided in the College Noticeboard section of our website.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our college. Together, we will continue to help our students plant, grow, and harvest success as they make the most of the opportunities that Term 3 will bring.
