Key Messages
Term 3 is a time when we see the results of the effort students have invested throughout the year. Whether they are developing practical agricultural skills, working towards vocational qualifications, preparing for further study or building confidence and independence, every day presents an opportunity for growth. I encourage students to stay focused, make the most of the opportunities before them and continue striving to achieve their personal best.
Monday 10th August: CWA afternoon tea:
Female students have been offered the opportunity to network with local women farmers at the Denmark CWA to celebrate the International Year of Women Farmers. This experience will give our girls the opportunity to expand their own networks and make connections for future work experience and potential employment.
Board Annual General Meeting Thursday 20th August:
Just prior to the early close, the College Board will hold its AGM in the Lecture Theatre commencing at 1pm. All are welcome to attend.
Early close Thursday 20th August:
Thursday classes and farm programs will continue as normal until 2.00 pm. I strongly encourage students to remain on site until this time to ensure they do not miss valuable learning opportunities, practical experiences and assessment-related activities. Every lesson and farm session contributes to students' progress and success, so we appreciate families supporting us by reinforcing the importance of full participation throughout the day.
